A bit of history about the company....

Starting out as John Skellern Ltd on Friar Street, Worcester, the dealership began life selling new Hondas back in the 1960s. A keen motorcycle competitor, John Skellern had a great passion for anything to do with motorcycles, be they Japanese or English. In the late 1970s, John's son, Chris, took over the day to day running of the company. The business relocated 400 yards down the road to its current location of 52 Sidbury and soon became a multi franchise dealership, selling Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Triumph motorcycles.

After a short stint in a different role within the industry between 1999 and 2001, Chris decided to resume his position at the helm and has been there ever since. In 2001, Chris and Penny took the decision to become a solus Yamaha dealer and have not looked back since. As a company, Skellerns Motorcycles has a close relationship with Yamaha UK and are pleased to be able to supply their products to customers far and wide.

In late 2006 an opportunity arose to open another dealership in Cheltenham and they grabbed it with both hands. The Gloucestershire area has a large and dedicated motorcycle fraternity and taking on a second store was definitely the right decision for the company.

Both dealerships stock the 2011 and 2012 Yamaha range of Mopeds, Scooters, Sports, Supersports, Adventure Sports and Custom motorcycles. With a wide choice of used bikes and scooters also available, we can cater for every taste and every budget. Our fully equipped technical department offer a range of services at competitive rates: menu priced servicing, MOTs, wheel balancing and many, many more. All of our technicians are factory trained and are constantly updating their technical knowledge through regular training courses.Stocking the very latest designs in helmets, clothing and boots, you should find everything you need in our Clothing and Accessories departments. We also supply a large range of genuine and aftermarket parts. If it's not in stock, we can get it within a couple of days!
